About I Love Oregon Wine

When people ask me about how all of this came about, I often reply that "it started with this one little wine rack."  In May 2004, I opened a gourmet and specialty food store called The Gourmet Lady in beautiful Yachats, Oregon.  There happens to be an Oregon wine distributor who lives in this little town, and he convinced me to put a rack of Oregon wine into the store.  Much to my surprise and delight, customers snatched up countless bottles of quality Oregon wine. I quickly realized that I needed more space to keep up with the demand.  A neighboring storefront opened up, and in November 2004, The Wine Place was born. Now combined under one roof, the shops provide the ideal pairing: Gourmet food. Choice wines. 

Although I do sell wines from other places, Oregon wine is the true focus.  All along I've been taking orders from customers who call or email me with requests for Oregon wine.  Now I've taken the next step – putting Oregon wine, and Oregon wine club choices online.  Thus the website is now bearing the name:  iloveoregonwine.com.  Thank you to Lisa Gray of Gray's Web Design for another fabulous website.
