03/06/2010 - "The best PInot Noir I ever had"

Just a few minutes ago, two customers came in to shop.  One of them began like this:  "I was in here a few years ago, and you sold me a Pinot Noir that was THE BEST PINOT NOIR I EVER HAD."  He was here looking for some more excellent wine, but before we could even begin on today's search, I paused a moment to say thank you for the compliment.  It pleases me to recommend a wine that becomes a profoundly happy memory on someone's tastebuds.  Of course, this gentleman didn't remember the name of the wine, but he did remember which aisle it came from.  Today he left with Nuthatch Cellars Tempranillo and promised to contact me with a review.  Actually these two seemed to be on their way to an afternoon of wine-sipping on the deck, and I expect to see them back again before 5:00 pm for another bottle.
