SPARKLING PINOT GRIS Yesterday was a delightful afternoon in the shop, Trudy Kramer, owner/winemaker of Kramer Vineyards was here. The introduction of her sparkling pinot gris was a big hit. This pinot gris is fruity and soft and the sparkling bubbles just dance on your tongue. It was very popular with customers. It was whole cluster fermented (Beajoulais method) where the stems are left in during the pressing of the grapes. Kramer Pinot Noir has a unique smoky flavor, a purposeful result achieved by the careful selection of the barrels used in fermentation.
