Welcome to The Wine Place, a relaxed and friendly wine shop nestled on the central Oregon coast in the charming village of Yachats.  The Wine Place specializes in Oregon wines.  You’ll also find choice selections from California, Washington, Europe, and South America.  With a wide selection of quality, affordable wines -- from $6 to $60 -- The Wine Place is a comfy shop offering wines for real life.

Encouraging the enjoyment of life's little pleasures, The Wine Place promotes local vineyards with complimentary wine tasting every Saturday as well as frequent, informal opportunities to meet and mingle with Oregon winemakers. For a list of wine tasting events, click here.

The Wine Place also offers wine-by-the-glass and outdoor deck seating.  In addition, The Wine Place occasionally hosts guided tasting and special events. These entertaining and informative events include wine tasting, appetizers, and informal conversation about winemaking and food pairings.

Owned and operated by Carrie Yano, The Wine Place is located under the same roof as Gourmet Lady, a cheery offering many gourmet and specialty food items, with an on-line business as well. With Yano's practical knowledge of food and wine, The Wine Place is a natural complement to Gourmet Lady. 

OPEN HOURS: 

During February, we are open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11-5 or longer.  We are also open on Sunday, Feb. 14, and Sunday, Feb 28.   On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, we are "open by chance" - just look for the neon OPEN sign or call 541-547-5275.
